On Tuesday, September 16, 2014, the Crooks and Liars published an article titled Mom Suffers Brain Injury, Forgets Tax Bill, So Country Is Selling Her Home AndKeeping The Profit

The article is about a lady who had suffered with Brain injury with an accident. She did not recognize that she forgot to pay her tax in that year when she was injured, and now government confiscates her house as a punishment. The lady tries to pay her tax, but government says that it is too late and now her house is out on auction

I find out this article is pretty interesting because it is an argumentative topic to dispute about our government. Some people might say that “rule is rule” so the government is somewhat cruel but it is right to do, but some people might say that government it is absolutely doing wrong to take people’s property, especially in this particular case.
